Standing Tall Amidst COVID-19 Pandemic: 5 Things every Believer should Remember

Friends, a lot have happened in the past few weeks, months. People have lost loved ones, companies are shutting down, businesses are closing down, the economy has taken a nose-dive, etc.

Thank God for God! The Blessing of God is Irreversible. So for every Believer in Christ Jesus, our experience in these times will be different and all things will ultimately work for our good irrespective of the viral pandemic. Have you noticed that the Church has remained mostly unshaken? Churches have swiftly adjusted to online worship. Reminds me of the scripture that says the time would come when it will be irrelevant where we worship, but that we worship Him in Spirit and Truth.

“Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
John 4:21‭-‬24 NKJV

Wisdom and faith are not mutually exclusive. One doesn’t work in variance to the other, that is why I will join my voice with the Centers of Disease Control and the World Health Organization to say; please adhere to given instructions and recommendations. These are mainly basic universal precautionary measures for medical personnel, and best practices for infection prevention and control. Hand washing for at least 20 seconds, use of hand sanitizer,, social distancing, quarantine for exposed persons and isolation for positive cases all all measures to help curb community spread of this deadly viral pandemic.
