It was my lunch hour some time in mid 2014, I was spending the time at my spa spot having my monthly spa routine when I heard a voice from within my spirit telling me to start Talk with Grace Obomanu. 

What I heard specifically was “To put up sign with ‘Talk with Grace Obomanu’ on STREETS”.

This was simply a strange instruction.  How do I do this?

I considered making billboards, renting an office and hanging a signboard at the front or on the street.

Considering how suddenly this nudge came to me and being that I’d not before this time planned on doing anything like this, it took me about 13 months to try to understand exactly what to do.

Talk with Grace Obomanu (TWGO) ; an online Christian Counseling platform started in March 2015 on Facebook.

Years later, after running TWGO on Facebook for a while, one day I was looking through Facebook on my phone, connecting with different people in different parts of the world, when it dawned on me that I was actually moving across STREETS in different parts of the world.

I am so glad I obeyed and followed that nudge because it is that first step of obedience that have led to all the Lord is guiding me to do in ministry today and in the future.

Effective Christian Counseling is one which deals with the total man- his spirit, soul and body. So it didn’t take much time for me to realize that people who seek counseling do not only present with emotional needs, they also have spiritual, financial and material needs.  That is why I started Grace Obomanu Foundation to help people discover themselves, to help them find hope and become instruments of hope for others.
