Somebody might say; ‘why should I even bother to know that?’, how about becoming informed of the extent of his godship in order to be able to define his territiory and by so doing keep him in constant check over your affairs. By how much is the devil the god of this world?
A kingdom is a territory, domain or realm ruled by a king or queen who is the highest authority and who may choose to delegate same as he/she wishes. The day you made Jesus Lord and Saviour of your life, you were translated from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of God and of His dear son Jesus Christ (Colossians 1:13). You are a member of the Kingdom of God. You are royalty (1 Peter 2:9).Kings reign and rule kingdoms through words. Their decrees become established and they govern their domains through words. Kings issue commands and processes are immediately set in motion for actualization of such commands. Jesus spoke extensively about the Kingdom of God, making reference to it many times in His teachings and parables. In Matthew 16:19, Jesus reveals the Keys of the Kingdom of God to His disciples…
“And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 16:19
Words have power. Words are seeds. Decrees and Judgements are passed through words.
Little wonder Jesus marvelled at the Centurion’s words in Luke 7:7-9. This man understood Ecclesiastes 8:4-5 all too well….there is power in the Words of a king (Ecclesiastes 8:4-5).
The keys to unlocking every blessing in the Kingdom of God is in our words/decrees, and the keys to condemning/refuting every consequence of the curse is in our words/judgement.
Wisdom and discernment help proper use and application of decrees or judgment (Ecclesiastes 8:5). Thi is how an empty and voidless space became home to plants, animals, man (Genesis chapter 1). And how a seed of words becomes a big company/organisation offering employment and source of livelihood to many (Luke 13:18-19).
The keys of the Kingdom of God …..decrees…..judgements…. communicated through words. Loose/unlock your blessings, judge/bind every curse or a semblance of the curse.
You are royalty; your words have power. Your words are the keys to unlocking every blessing in the Kingdom of God. And words are the keys to condemning/refuting everything with semblance to the curse.
Some of the gains and benefits of contentment we can tease from scripture including 1 Timothy 6:6-10 are; preservation of our faith/belief, protection of our joy/peace and protection from covetousness.
Join me in this Study series to learn more about Authority, Its Use and Benefits.
Authorities are established by God. Authorities are established as leadership structures to coordinate people, guide them to do what’s right, and to maintain orderliness.
And God established authorities to do man good.
Jesus was a person of Authority, and He exercised His Authority to teach people to do right, to liberate people and help them enjoy freedom, to help people follow God’s order for doing things.
As a person in position of Authority understanding the Purpose of Authority ensures its rightly Used.
As a person Under Authority, understanding the Benefits of Authority will help you maximize it.
God wants us submitted to the Authorities He established.
Jesus Examplifies the 2 Drivers of Humility from Philippians 2:5-11
“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.” Philippians 2:5-8 NKJV
-God the Son existed in the beginning as the second person of deity (John 1:1) -He was the Word through which all things were created (John 1:3). -However, in order to redeem man, the Son of God became man- took the form of man (John 1:14, Colossians 2:9), found in appearance as man (Philippians 2:8) -Even though Jesus was born with flesh and blood, He was intrinsically God. God bypassed the sinful human nature in Jesus by virtue of His birth to a virgin (Matthew 1:18-25).
-Philippians 2:5-11 clearly tells us that Jesus Layed Aside His Godly rights, took the form of a man in order to save man. He did that to meet the Father’s requirement for man’s redemption.
He submitted to God to the point of death.
-He ran His earthly ministry not as God but as a Man anointed with the Holy Ghost (Acts 10:38).
-He identified as Man. He was tempted just as we are, yet He did not sin (Hebrews 4:15).
Likewise us: We are born of God. We have the nature of God. However to stay humble before God, we must submit totally to God and His Word And we must not think ourselves higher than other people- we identify as men as well. This by no means doesn’t mean we don’t know who we are or what we are made of. We are Born of God! I am proudly Born of God! ?
And just like Jesus, we too though having the form of man boldly witness of Christ and do Kingdom exploits by the power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8).
And we can live victoriously by faith in Christ, helped by the Holy Spirit.
Ever since I learned about the principle of multiplication as taught by Jesus, I employ it for my ministry outreaches. And every time I’ve employed this principle just as Jesus taught it, I end up with fragments/leftovers. Now that I think of it, sometimes I unknowingly over-budget for my outreaches, but what I find is; when we get to the field, we are able to attend to everyone who is present and still have leftovers for our support team.
