I don’t really know much about the parts of a ship so I cannot say if the stern of every ship is a resting point. What I can say though is that the stern of ship where Jesus lay, asleep in the midst of a storm, was a place of faith, trust, peace and rest.

You know, as I thought about the uneventful ‘disappearance’ of the poisonous serpents, I realized that actually that is how life problems ‘pass away’ as we move our focus away from life’s troubling issues and rightfully fix them on Jesus and His Word.

The Word of God does not change because of our situations, circumstances or experiences. But the Word of God can change our situations, circumstances and experiences.

Can we briefly reflect on the things that meant all things to us before the onset of COVID-19? Looking back now, can we say like Paul that we indeed abounded and still abound

A lot of Christians haven’t really understood love. A few others talk about love in the light of something they expect to receive from others. But can you imagine if every Christian thought about themselves every time 1 Corinthians 13 flashes through their mind? Christianity will be truly defined. How do you love?

Every river originates from somewhere; a lake, spring, glacier, marsh, etc. And many times the quality of water of a river is determined by it’s source.

The only One who knows your future is God. He has the master plan and He is committed to it as long as you stay in Him. Not one word, not one promise of God goes unfulfilled.
