So while the flesh enjoys the satisfaction of envy, strife, bitterness, etc, your Christian walk is paused, halted, stifled.
This is really powerful- It shows that there is a level of insistence and persistence in prayers that is more powerful and productive than the bond of friendship or relationships!

Many times our predominant thoughts are about life issues that are affecting us at every point in time. Marriage, children, career, relationships, health, finances, etc. Some times the thoughts around these areas of life are pleasant, at other times they are not.
Fear can be tackled as it begins to build in the mind by choosing to focus on a different (positive) picture than the one offered by fear. Another important point to neutralize fear is to Act Contrary to fearful thoughts despite the unpleasant and destabilizing feelings and emotions the fearful pictures may have created.
