Job Description
The Administrative Assistant at GOF will be required to provide support on the day-to-day running of the organization, identify, advice and process funding and/or grant opportunities for projects, manage communications across different platforms, as well as support onsite projects and outreaches.
He/She must have experience working with an NGO, basic experience with grants writing and very knowledgeable about the workings of social media platforms. He/She must have good writing and communication skills, be organized, with ability to work independently- under minimal supervision.
Being an active member of a bible-believing church is an added advantage.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day administrative tasks as assigned
- Identify funding opportunities for projects and process same
- Handle social media activities- share posts and engage with audience, schedule contents
- Create basic graphics and featured image for website as required
- Create and share content across social media platforms as required
- Prepare monthly reports and share via google drive
Requirements
- Applicant must have and maintain a vibrant and consistent relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Experience working in an NGO, charity (preferably a Christian group)
- Baisc experience with grant processing (sourcing, application and follow-up)
- Good knowledge of social media platforms
- Minimum academic qualification- OND/HND/bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- Proficient with Microsoft office (excel, word, powerpoint).
- Must be passionate about helping people
