As subtle as it might seem, verbal abuse can be as harmful as physical abuse. If you feel your self-worth and confidence is eroding from continuous exposure to insults, ridicule, abuse, especially from people you love and respect, maybe it’s time to take a stroll. You’re probably in the wrong place, with the wrong company, in the wrong relationship.
It may be time to take a stroll, Take it with God. God has BETTER for you. There’s a place, a people, a connection where you’ll be valued and respected
It is NOT LOVE to keep soaking in insults, ridicule and/or abuse. It is not agape to keep exposing yourself to derogatory words. Because whether you know it or not, your self-confidence is eroding.

Take a stroll with God. He will restore beyond your imaginations. He will lead you beside still waters. He will lead you to where there’s peace, comfort and refreshing
