Faith is a state; it isn’t a feeling. It’s not trial and error. So what does faith mean? Faith means you are persuaded. You’re not “trying” to believe—you either ARE in faith, or you’re not.
Hebrews 11:1 defines faith so simply….
“Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses].” Hebrews 11:1
Faith is absolute confidence in God’s Word—unshaken by the senses, data, emotions, or past experiences. It’s not mental gymnastics. It’s not wishful thinking. It’s a spiritual force that operates from deep persuasion. And when you’re there—you’ll know. Because your language changes. Your posture changes. You speak and act like someone who already possesses the promise. Faith means you are persuaded.
So if you’ve been saying, “I’m trying to have faith…”, that’s your sign—you’re not in it yet. But you can get there. And this video will show you how….
