Oxford languages defines ignorance as ” lack of knowledge or information.” Someone is said to be ignorant if he/she doesn’t know things that they are expected to know. The price of ignorance can be high. As Christians we ought to know who we are, who we carry and what has been given to us to avoid being taken advantage of by the enemy. Hosea 5 verse 6 says that God’s people perish for lack of knowledge.
In this short Bible study clip, we see that Adam was ignorant about the scope of his dominion, ignorant about the depth of control he had over God’s creation hence the enemy could play games with his head.
When we don’t know who we are, we make room for the enemy to play games with our lives.
As a child of God, to reign victoriously in this world, you must know who you are, who you carry, and what has been made available to you.
“Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, [3] as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue” 2 Peter 1:2-3 NKJV
