God expressed His intended living experience for man through creation; all of creation was made for man’s use and benefit.
You can find a picture of this living condition and experience God intended for man in Genesis 2:8-12…(please see scripture at the bottom of this post).
If you say ‘oh but this life was meant for Adam, not me’, then you miss it completely because this Life was meant for man… all of humanity emanated from Adam including you. This LIFE was made for you.
It is true that Adam’s disobedience ushered in man’s downfall necessitating God to drive man out of the garden, but you know, the story doesn’t end there, because Jesus’s sacrificial death and His resurrection, restored man to the original state and plan of God for man. Halleluyah!
This LIFE is yours in Christ Jesus.
So what picture can we see from Genesis 2:8-12?
I tell you, this is the Best Real Estate plan….?
God PLANTED a GARDEN with trees that were PLEASANT to the eyes,…. and then He put Adam in it.
-God wants you to live in a beautiful, serene and comfortable environment.
-Go for God’s best.
The Garden God planted had trees which were good for FOOD.
-God wants you to have FOOD to eat at every time.
-Go for God’s best.
God planted the Tree of Life in the midst of the Garden.
This tree wasn’t necessarily for man’s consumption, but if God put it in the garden, then God intended it’s presence to benefit man.
-God wants you to enjoy a LONG GOOD LIFE in Him (3 John 1:2, Psalm 91:16).
-Go for God’s best.
God planted the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil in the midst of the garden.
This was the ONLY tree God prohibited Adam from eating (Genesis 2:17).
This tree wasn’t for man’s use because God clearly instructed Adam NOT to eat from it.
I believe that man’s knowledge was essentially meant to be Godly (about God) and Good (pure and unadulterated with evil).
Having a knowledge of good/evil, puts a demand on man to always choose to do good. A contrary choice would be evil and a sin against God.
-Go for God’s best.
- A knowledge of God will keep you on the good path, and within God’s will (Romans 11:13, Proverbs 9:10).
-To enjoy a good life, spend time in the Word of God (the Bible).
God’s garden, where He placed Adam, was constantly Irrigated by the rivers God placed in the midst of the garden.
-God wants you having access to good WATER; which will water your ground, and also be a source of refreshing for you (Genesis 2:5-6, Psalm 23:2).
-Go for God’s best.
-And keep your spirit constantly refreshed by the Holy Ghost. Spend some more time speaking in tongues (1 Corinthians 14:4-5).
God deposited Precious stones and gold in the garden He placed Adam in- Gold, Bdellium, and Onyx stones.
-God wants you enjoying beauty, luxury and comfort (Matthew 6:29).
God placed Adam in a beautiful garden, showing His intended living condition for mankind.
Halleluyah!!
God wants you to live the best life- A beautiful life with Food, Water, Comfort, Luxury, health and always being refreshed by His Word and Spirit.
The devil stole this life from Adam, but God restored it in Christ Jesus.
Go for everything God has already provided for you in Christ Jesus (2 Peter 1:3).
Don’t let the enemy shortchange you.
…………
“And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads. The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold; and the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone. And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.”
