Hello there,
Praise be to God Almighty, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, our Father, who has kept us safe through this period of a global pandemic. All glory to His name.
Welcome to October 2020 Newsletter, a rich compilation of previous month’s publications, upcoming events and partnership opportunities on my blog.
I am so thankful to God for the continuous outpouring of inspirations that makes it possible for me to keep writing on His Word. This is such an honor and a great privilege. People often ask; ‘Grace, how do you come about these thoughts?’ ‘how are you able to do all that you do and still look calm?’. First, these are not just mere thoughts and praise God for His commitment towards shining more lights on gray areas with each new day. My faith and love walk are deepened daily with every new revelation I receive from God’s Word. In Second Corinthians 15:10 Apostle Paul speaks of God’s ability at work within him. That is the only way to achieve imaginably impossible things….through grace.
October 2020 Highlights
I love all my blogposts. There are some though that are absolutely mindblowing to me, the revelations from them are well written on the tablets of my heart; these are my favourites.
God Leads His Sons published this October is a favourite! How did it come about? It was one of those days when you’ve heard a few things around that want to make you think; ‘did I just do the right thing?’. It was on one of such days that the Holy Spirit brought Romans 8:14 to my mind. That was the first day I understood exactly what that scripture means. I hope this article blesses you and more importantly I hope you learn more each day to depend on the Lord’s leading, because God truly leads His Sons.
Yes, God leads us towards His plans and purpose for our lives. Every child of God is Just Like The Wind; on a mission, headed in a specific direction, is powerful and made for impact (John 3:8 NKJV). As we fellowship with God each day through His Word and prayer, we become more confident of who God has made us to be and what He’s called us to do.
More Than The Dynamics of Faith is my next favourite article for this month. Many times we read from the scripture about ‘mixing faith with works for best faith outcomes.’ Well, one of the things that became clear to me from this article is that the kind of works that complements faith, is actually deeply embedded in love, love towards God and man. Meaning, the type of works needed to birth a faith project may not always be centred on the recipient of such faith project(selah). I tell you, if you want to gain better understanding of what faith truly means and it’s application, More Than The Dynamics of Faith is an article to start with.
As a young Christian, one of the first things I heard God say to me was: ‘in quietness is your strength‘. Back then I didn’t really understand what that meant. Truth is, everyone born of God has a deposit of meekness in him/her by the mere fact of being born of the Spirit of God (Galatians 5:22 NKJV). Learn how to enjoy a quiet spirit in my article; Meekness: An Ornament of Great Price.
One of the immediate benefits of having a quiet spirit is that you will Do Nothing Out of Strife. Strife means bitter conflict, discord, antagonism, a quarrel, struggle, clash, competition or rivalry. The Bible lists strife as one of the traits of immature or carnal Christians. Praise God that we can successfully live strife-free lives when we walk in humility and agape
(Philippians 2:3).
I woke up on Sunday 4th October, 2020 to my morning prayers, praying in other tongues. It wasn’t too long after that the prophecy captured in The Lord Is Setting It In Order started flowing from my own lips. I knew it was a message for someone so I captured it as a blogpost, praying that the Holy Spirit will direct it to the right recipient. He did. If your life seems kind of disjointed and unimpressive right now, this prophecy may be for you as well.
Praise God!!!
Upcoming Events
I received a letter from Melissa Towers about their new project, Eyewitness. I promised to share this new vision in our October newsletter.
Eyewitness: The Visual Bible Experience, is a simple way for Christians to grow their faith, as well as share their faith with others. This is a creative new book, like a story Bible for grown-ups and teens. It combines the interpretive artwork of 16 illustrators from around the world and 39 Bible stories told in a narrative, first-person perspective from the Bible character themselves. The beautiful artwork and captivating stories naturally draw people to pick it up and explore making conversations about faith start organically.
Friends, please take a look and let’s share in this passion of reaching people with God’s boundless love. I’ll be ordering copies for my teens. And thank you Melissa as I anticipate my review copy of Eyewitness.
It’s been such a blessing studying on ‘The Whole Armor of God’ on our Friday Bible Study time on the blog. Please join us every Friday in November 2020 as we continue to explore the great truths of Ephesians 6:14-18.
