Welcome.
This is the 3rd part of this blogpost series.
Picking up from where we stopped in part 2, we start to look at features of the Time to Bring in Sheaves.
“He who continually goes forth weeping, Bearing seed for sowing, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, Bringing his sheaves with him.”
Psalms 126:6 NKJV

Looking at Psalm 126:6 again, it is clear that: ‘A Time to bring in sheaves’ must be preceded by a season of continuous tilling and planting of seeds, a season of hardwork, discomfort, maybe pains, surely of sacrifice, dedication and commitment.
So this season refers exclusively to the one who continually (not once or twice) got up, went out, dropped seeds in his farm/vineyard, and again got up, went out, dropped seeds in his farm/vineyard, etc etc.
This person has a farm/field/vineyard.
Questions for me to answer;
Do I have a vineyard? Have I been sowing seeds on it regularly? Did I sow my seeds in tears, making sacrifices many times? Have I been fully and totally committed to this field? If my answers to the above questions is ‘yes’, then yes, it is time to bring in my sheaves.
Is it your time also or do you have to sow just a little bit more? Have you even located your vineyard?
It is the one with a vineyard that can prepare to gather sheaves.
Most people quote Galatians 6:7b from a judgmental perspective, almost intending to invoke nemesis on an offender.
“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.”
Galatians 6:7 NKJV

A positive way to look at this scripture can be that a person who sows, should expect to reap. Secondly, a sower should expect to reap what he sows, in multiplied form (because surely, God increases our seed sown).
And that is the second thing about the Time to bring in the sheaves; God is the one who provided the increase (harvest, sheaves). We must therefore honor Him with the increase as well as use it to His glory.
“So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.”
I Corinthians 3:7 NKJV

Really, God is at the centre of it all. He causes the lot to fall in pleasant places for us, we propagate the land by His wisdom and in His strength, and while we’re asleep, He causes our seeds to grow and yes, He gives us great increase.
“The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; Yes, I have a good inheritance.”
Psalms 16:6 NKJV
https://bible.com/bible/114/psa.16.6.NKJV
“And He said, “The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how“
Mark 4:26-27 NKJV

So truly in God, we win always. In Him, we have all we need that pertains to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). He is a good, good Father.
It is our time to bring in the sheaves. For surely those who sow in tears, reap in joy.
“Those who sow in tears Shall reap in joy.”
