Nothing Is Impossible with God

Some things in life are just impossible. For example, it is impossible for a virgin to give birth to a child (well, except with current medical interventions). It is impossible for a dead person to come back to life (John 11:44). It is not normal to be subtracting from something and yet for that thing to be increasing (Proverbs 11:24)

So when Mary said to the angel; ‘how can this be’? She wasn’t being unreal.

Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus . Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?”
Luke 1:30‭-‬31‭, ‬34 NKJV

That is why I can understand how you feel about taking that seemingly impossible step. It is practically impossible to achieve success as is.

Well, my Bible tells me ‘nothing is impossible with God’, and that includes every possibly impossible thing.

The question then is; ‘are you doing it on your own or with God?

Commit your way to the Lord , trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.
Psalms 37:5 NKJV

God is the One who brings impossible things to pass.

Mary, the Word, the flesh & the Spirit- God’s Timeless Mystery: 2

“And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word…..and Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Judea……and it came to pass, that when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe in leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost.”  Luke 1:38-41

The WORD

Have you ever wondered about words? Words make the world go round. Whether written or spoken, we communicate our thoughts, emotions and feelings through words.

In Genesis, God teaches us the power of words. Words Create!

God created the whole word through words. God created light, day, night, water, sky, land, seas, vegetation, sun, moon, stars, living creatures in the seas and on the land, human beings (male and female).

Wow! Wow!! Wow!!!

I proudly present to you, My Father….. Master Creator, with awesome imaginative abilities, excellent conception and display of beauty, wonderful display of power without gimmicks. My Father is self-sufficient in Himself! And my Father created All things through Words, and faith in His Words.

All the miracles of Jesus Christ were performed via words. He healed the sick and raised the dead through words. And He tells us we can move mountains through words;

“…for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’, and it will move..” Matthew 17:20

Let’s see what Words got for Mary.. 🙂

Mary listened attentively to Michael. And received (conceived) all Michael said to her, then walked away, merrily.

The Bible doesn’t tell us that Mary consulted a doctor or midwife to confirm if she was pregnant after seeing Michael. Instead, we’re introduced to a ‘blessed fruit of Mary’s womb’ (Luke 1: 42).

Pause…

How did Elisabeth know the things that Michael said to Mary? Elisabeth wasn’t with Mary at the time, and Elisabeth has given Mary no time at all to ‘gist’ her of her encounter with Michael. Elisabeth spoke and prophesied as soon as Mary stepped into her home.  That’s the pregnancy test Mary needed. She was indeed pregnant, just as the Lord said to her through Michael.

Question: What did Michael give to Mary?

The Word!

Question: And what did Mary conceive?

A Child!

God is His Word. When we speak God’s word into a situation, we introduce/put God in it. And when we receive or believe God’s word we conceive God in us. And God in us can became anything we receive the Word as because God’s word is life, health, power, spirit….

“....the words that I speak to you are spirit and they are life.”  John 6: 63

My son, give attention to my words; incline your ears to my sayings ……for they are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh.” Proverbs 4:20

Mystery #2: Mary received The Word and conceived a Child. The Word creates. I can create anything my faith can believe for. I can move mountains through my words.

Mary, The Word, The Flesh & the Spirit-God’s Timeless Mystery-1.

… ‘Hail, thou that art highly favored, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. And when she saw, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. And the angel said unto her, ‘Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favor with God. And behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb and bring forth a son and shalt call his name JESUS.”    Luke 1: 28-31 KJV.

MARY

How does a young virgin respond to being told by a man she’s meeting for the first time that she has found favor with God?

Michael sure didn’t look like an angel when he appeared to Mary. No! he came to her in human form; as a man.

Flip that scene to today’s realities; a good-looking man walks up to a young naïve and innocent Mary declaring that she’s found favor with God….? Chances are that Mary could smile sheepishly, blushing all over considering her naïvety and gentle nature, or she could blow her tops, wishing he never appeared anywhere in her vicinity again.

In today’s world, not many top-level women get to prestigious positions through sheer brilliance, creativity or hard work.  Not many get there because they’re innocent, naïve and gentle. If you got the  charms, use it or burn with your brains and talents.

That is not the case for a select distinct group of persons who received a blessed Jesus born by a highly favored and blessed Mary. Ask Elizabeth about how favor permeated the air to reach her from a favored Mary such that she became filled with the Holy Ghost and prophesied (Luke 1: 41-43).  Jesus Christ is no longer in Mary’s womb, no! He lives in us. We are blessed and highly favored.

Favored means to be treated or thought of with greatness, preference or partiality. Having special gifting, talents and advantages. Privileged.

Oh! I proclaim that because I received Jesus Christ as Lord and Master over my life, I am blessed, highly favored, greatly gifted and talented. God is bias in my favor and He thinks of me with greatness because I am an offspring of a Great God. He is partial towards me and so I am constantly being preferred in the things that line up with His will and plan for my life.

Thank You Faithful Father.

Mystery #1: A greatly blessed child born of a highly blessed and favored mother got me great favor and blessings!
