Truth is, going by the law, the Pharisees were right, however the law wasn’t serving its purpose because no one could follow it fully, not even the self-righteous Pharisees who were trying to stop Jesus from doing good on the Sabbath. Jesus was introducing something new; grace over law, mercy over law, compassion over religion, love over norms. The love and compassion of Jesus was shining so brightly over the law.
God TESTS us, and unlike temptations which come from the enemy to make us sin, Tests from God act as refining or purifying processes with the intended aim of building character, patience, perseverance, subsequently leading to perfection and completeness.
When a young man wants to propose to a young lady, he might choose to package the engagement ring in a beautiful attractive and alluring box. The box, inspire of how beautiful it looks, is not the main gift, his target is to deliver the contents of the box to the lady he loves.
VICTORY is the identity of every child of God. Victorious Christian living should be a way of life for every believer. As believers we should enjoy victory in Christ; overcoming in all things, dominating our world, ruling and reigning in life. First John chapter 5, verse 4 tells us this much, emphasizing that faith is the victory that overcomes the world. In addition to faith, I share other keys to living a life of victory in Christ below…

That’s why Jesus came; to destroy the works of darkness (1 John 3:8), abolish the requirements of the law (Colossians 2:14), take away the curse (Galatians 3:13-14), and instead of that sin/ death experience, He introduced the grace/life way of living (Romans 5:20-22, John 10:10, 1 Corinthians 15:22).
Dissatisfaction with life, desperation, anxiety about how to make ends meet, can all result in Discontentment with life and with the Christian faith. This experience which can see someone moving downhill spiritually doesn’t happen suddenly, no, it’s usually a process.
