It was my lunch hour some time in mid 2014, I was spending the time at my spa spot having my monthly spa routine when I heard a voice from within me to; start Talk with Grace Obomanu. What I heard specifically was “to put up signposts with ‘Talk with Grace Obomanu’ on STREETS”.
This was simply a strange instruction. How do I do this? I considered making billboards, or renting an office and hanging a signboard with, ‘Talk with Grace Obomanu’…
‘Talk with Grace Obomanu’ (TWGO) ; an online Christian Counseling platform started in March 2015 on Facebook. It was explosive, with wide reach and massive engagements. Years later, after running TWGO for a while, I realized as I scrolled through Facebook on my phone, that I was actually moving through STREETS in different parts of the world. I also realized that more than counselling and talking with people, I was writing a lot about the Word of God; sharing wisdom relevant for everyday living. This observation was attested to by many of my readers and followers. This is how ‘Grace Obomanu Blog‘ started…a website dedicated to sharing insights and wisdom (from the Bible) for Victorious Christian Living.
As I continued with TWGO, it didn’t take much time to also realize that people who seek counseling for emotional needs, also present with financial and material needs. That is How I started Grace Obomanu Foundation; to render help to the needy by pooling resources from willing and interested donors.
Beyond sharing the Word of God in print via the blog, I was also led years later, to start video-recording some of my thoughts and insights from God’s Word. This is how, ‘Victory Walk‘ started on Youtube.
I am so glad that I obeyed and followed that initial nudge to start TWGO, because that first step of obedience have led me into all I am doing in ministry today.
